My name is Gillian (pronounced with a J sound). I live and read on Muwinina Country, in Lutruwita/Tasmania - the land of the Palawa people, who have never ceded sovereignty.

I read a variety of genres across kids, young adult and adult books. I'm passionate about reading diversely and sharing my love of the incredible literary talent we have in Australia.

I have a Master of Publishing and hope to one day work in YA and Children’s literature. I work at the Australian Publishers Association.

I started this blog in 2015, having previously flailed about the internet on a bunch of other platforms.
